UPS F. 714 is a yellow and clear fluid in the concentrated state which is formulated from selected chemicals and rust inhibitor that assure rapid setting of fines, long sump life, excellent heat dissipation and good rust protection. This material was superior transparent grinding and light machining coolant.

To effectively do the above, a coolant must not fog up the work area and must not cause corrosion while in the process of cooling of lubricating. Water is an efficient coolant but it fails to lubricate and could promote corrosion.

UPS F 714 performs both functions extremely well because it is both a coolant and synthetic lubricant. It has all the strong points of water and cutting oils without any their shortcomings.
